Explorations Academy
Explorations Adacemy is a creative arts and academic electives program developed to provide homeschoolers the opportunity to participate in activities and course subjects that aren’t always accessible via home learning environments. Taught by industry professionals and experienced educators, these sessions go beyond the limits of home to provide group experiences and instruction in specialized topics. Whether your student is interested in Musical Theater, band or choir, quilting, Integrated Science, or Paleontology, you will find it at Explorations!
Thursday Sessions
Register for up to five sessions on Thursdays between 9:30am-3:30pm. Each session is 55 minutes with a lunch period from 11:30am-12:25pm for eating and socializing. Only enrolled students are invited to be present on campus during each session period.
Active Participation
Students will move from classroom to classroom throughout the day, with time during the lunch period for free play. Some sessions will include activities in the gym or outside the building on the campus grounds.
Offering a Variety of Options
EXA sessions range widely, from fine arts to life science, music to history. Each session will have age- and subject-appropriate behavior expectations and assignments for students to complete.
