Registration for Explorations Academy is now open! Most sessions still have space for more learners. Whether you enroll your student for one session, three sessions, or more, there are plenty of options.

KHS makes every effort to provide high-quality but affordable enrichment options for homeschooling families in Kentuckiana. As a registered nonprofit organization, we do not profit from our programming. Our tuition and supply fees reflect the costs associated with paying our employees, contracting with our location partners for appropriate spaces in which to hold our classes, and providing the materials and supplies for an exceptional classroom experience.

This year KHS is utilizing a new program called Our School Hangout (OSH) for registration and classroom communication. You will need to create a family account before you can register for any classes. You can get started by using this link: Our School Hangout Account Set Up. This will take you to a family registration page:

You have complete control over what information is visible to other school families (purple “show in directory” checkboxes) and can edit this at any time.

Registration for next year will be complete by following these steps:

1. Renew or initiate your 2026/27 KHS Membership. The cost of this covers our group insurance. You only need to do this once per family.
2. Browse the Session Descriptions on this site.
3. Register and pay registration fees through your Our School Hangout account. You can sort through classes by Session. Wildflowers Academy, the KHS cottage school, and High School Foundations, the KHS 9-12 grade option, are also open for registration. Your options will look similar to the image below:
